Creative Reuse Artist Highlights

We wanted to Celebrate National Reuse Day, October 20th, this year by sharing some of the great creative reuse projects and artists we've met at SCRAP Creative Reuse!

RinneBar

Located in Tokyo, Japan, RinneBar is the upcycle and creative reuse DIY bar from the team at Rinne Earth. They hope to foster a sense of creative confidence and provide project ideas and materials, so you can relax and unwind while crafting and creating.

Calder Kamin

Calder is a creative reuse and 'trash' artist, currently based out of Texas. Calder's motto "Nature Never Wastes" and recent exhibition "A World Without Waste" utilizes plastic waste to create whimsical and playful creatures and scenes.

Nicole Chochrek

Nicole is a multidisciplinary artist based out of New York, and incorporates environmentalism and geography in art practice. Nicole's gallery exhibition, "little, cute, and lasts forever" displays the global impact of microplastics and plastic treasures.

RinnePDX

RinnePDX is the cultural brand and sustainable project from Midori Yamanaka - a team member of Rinne Earth and RinneBar. RinnePDX works to bridge cultural understandings and build networks in creative reuse and sustainable living.
