Welcome National Leadership Team Members!

Welcome National Leadership Team Members!

Over the past year, SCRAP's Strategy development has really focused on Operational Excellence. We're putting a lot of effort into strengthening our foundation for all programs and improving benefits and wages for our staff. While we're not quite where we want to be yet, we've made significant progress this year. Keeping Operational Excellence as our priority, we've brought on two national leadership staff members.

Join me in welcoming:

The National Education Director, Rabbit Friedrich will bring expertise, innovation, operational excellence, and strategic planning to enhance our educational offerings. Collaborating with Site Directors and Education staff, this role addresses diverse needs to strengthen our educational programming foundation. Responsible for strategic initiatives, including curriculum review, new teaching methods, partnerships, and community outreach.

The Temporary HR Specialist (first ever HR-specific position at SCRAP Creative Reuse) Alanna Michalisko will concentrate on various aspects to improve our workplace environment and procedures. They will refine the employee handbook, establish clear and compliant policies, address onboarding and training protocols, and organize safety training while simplifying acknowledgment procedures. This initiative aims to enhance legal compliance, minimize HR-related risks, improve employee relations, streamline communication, and optimize overall processes.

We are super excited in this next chapter for SCRAP Creative Reuse.
