“What’s Giving Tuesday?” - you ask. Well, after a post-holiday weekend of shopping (hopefully you shopped small and local to help those small businesses and local makers that are struggling this year), it’s time to Give Back to the organizations and groups that help in your communities! Giving Tuesday is the reminder that the season for giving is more than just gift-giving. SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit that not only diverts waste and helps reuse all that STUFF we give each other, but we also give back to our communities, teachers, and fellow organizations throughout the year. Now we are asking our communities to help us out before the year ends. We’ve had a tough year, like so many others, and your donations and support mean the world to us!
We have our End of the Year – C'mon Get SCRAPpy – fundraiser going on now until December 31st! You can donate any amount that is meaningful to you, form a fundraising team, and help spread the joy of Giving to SCRAP!

We don’t want to ONLY ask for your help, we want to give something to you too! You know you can always find affordable materials at SCRAP to help with your creative reuse and art projects. We know many of us still enjoy gift giving for the holidays and our supporters are so creative and crafty, many making handmade gifts to give. We want to remind you of some great sustainable gift-wrapping ideas that can help reduce gift-wrapping waste and make those sweet presents even more unique!
You can help make the holidays more sustainable, and SCRAP wants to help make it easy for you! Find reuse containers, unique papers and craft supplies, and materials to add that extra special touch to your gifts this year. And check out our earlier blog post about Creative Reuse Gift Ideas!
