SCRAP wants to give you some helpful tips and reminders to practice creative reuse in our lives! There’s always something we can be better about reusing, helping our stuff last longer, and using materials to create new stuff (that’s our favorite)!
First, think about activities and habits around you that you can switch to reuse. Reusable bags at the grocery store can be an important habit to switch to reuse. You can find or make your own reusable produce bags, reusable tote bags, and shopping for bulk items that use less packaging. Start reusing stuff that may have some life in it still! Glass jars from food products can make fun containers for art projects, unique drink glasses, or mini planters for your house plants!

SCRAP has some fun videos and blogs that can help inspire you to creatively reuse! And don’t keep a good idea to yourself – share you reuse projects with friends and family, and inspire them to reuse, too!
At SCRAP, we try to be mindful to reduce our consumption, reuse materials as much as possible, and - only if we can’t reuse it anymore - to recycle or compost our waste. We want to keep usable materials from ending up in our community waste streams, and gives those items another life with reuse!
SCRAP’s got you covered on creative reuse essentials!
Just looking at our materials or shopping our stores inspires you with crafty vibes and ideas. Once you’ve got your reuse materials, all you need is a little space and a love for the earth! Our tips and ideas can help you along the way, but we know our communities have so many amazing reuse ideas. Share yours with us, and remember to reuse!
